Sunrise School is founded on 21/03/1990 and is managed by its managing committee.The managing committee comprises of seven members which consists of the President/Secretary and well known reputed,eminent personalities and social workers of its locality.

SUNRISE SCHOOL Chhota Adalpur, is a school which conducts classes form Nursery to X and is registered by Govt. of W.B.Its Society's registration number is S/86319. The sunrise School is recognized by NIOS, (National Institute of Open Schooling) NOIDA,U.P. under Ministry of HRD Govt. of India. Further it is recognized by NIOS Vocational Education courses up to 10+2 level courses.And also IT section is recognized by AISEC, Bhopal which operates under the ministry of science and information Technology, Govt. of India.

The school is situated in Chhota Adalpur on Mirik road near M.E.S.More khaprali.It is surrounded and adorned with natural beauties like tea estate,forest greenery,fresh air and is beside the Army cantonment. It has also easy access to Mirik,Kurseong,Darjeeling and Siliguri etc.
